ORACLE DB Migration from 11g to 12c

Hi,

Oracle DB migration is planned from 11g to 12c . I have followed couple of pdn links for the same and find that there are more for DBA to work, not for pega.

one question here is, after export and import, do we have to do any checks\changes\activities from pega perspective .

Please be informed that db namings remains the same. Kindly advise on this.

Hi Nagraj,

 

 

I think there is no activity that you have to do from Pega perpective.

You need to migrate data and point to the new DB schemas.

Observed below issues after migrating from oracle 11g to oracle 12c.

tracer not working,not able to write logs, not able to check-in rules , not able to open the instances in records explorer, not able to import the jar file and not able to create product file.

Kindly advise if we are missing something.
