Oracle 11g DB virtual server migration

Currently we are using the PEGA 6.1 SP1 and Oracle 11g database in clustered environment. Now the DB size is exceeding the storage area and the DBA team has recommended to migrate it to the virtual server. Can you please confirm do we have any issue in migrating the current version of PEGA 6.1 SP1 with Oracle 11g DB to the virtual server(also please suggest what steps are required for migrating the DB with virtual server) .

It shouldn't matter that your database server is on a virtual server.  After you have finish moving the db you would just need to update the url in your datasource.
