Requesting List of steps or guide for DB Migration from Oracle 11G R2 to ORACLE 12c

DB migration is planned on our pega applications from Oracle 11G R2 to ORACLE 12C. Kindly advice if there is guide on the same or list of steps./procedures to do the same

Hello,

 

If you are on Pega 7.X, then there shouldn't be a problem migrating between these two databases as both are supported as per the platform support guide.

 

As per my understanding, since this is just DB migration, Pega won't be maintaining any dedicated document for it.
However, you can always check the respective deployment guide for more details.

Hi Nagaraj,

As my colleague specified this task is more towards the Database Administrative and DB Admin should help you out regarding this migration of data from one database to another database and nothing to do in terms of product perspective documentation for the migration process.
