Wrap up interaction case and close tab from service case thread

Hi, I'm trying to resolve and close tab (to imitate wrap up) an interaction case after submit from the service case. It seems that calling CPMClearPortalRecent helped others before to implement this. However, even from base Pega CS, D_CPMPortalRecent.ActiveParentRecent is always empty due to significant architectural changes in Pega CS

Is there an OOTB or another way to achieve this?
