Is Revalidation of rules is a mandatory post upgrade from 7.1.9 TO 8.5 across all the Environment like dev, QA, Prod

Recently we have upgraded from 7.1.9 to 8.5.
completed revalidation of rules in Dev Environment
Is it Mandatory to complete revalidation of rules in every Environment like QA, Prod
If we skip this what will be the impact on application.
Please let us know

Re-validating all rules after post-upgrade is not needed and we will not have any negative impact.
Just you need have a server clear cache restart after all upgrade process completed.
After upgrade process completed monitor PDC for some day's continuously and make sure you are not getting any new exception related to upgrade and rule assembly process is working as expected under all node(s).

@KedarN26 I think its better to run the revalidation in all the environments. References would be upto date and also all the instances will be validated.
If you have time, better do it.
