Upgrade from from 7.1.9 to 8.5

Hi all ,

Can we upgrade Pega 7.19 application directly to 8.5 or any intermediary versions are required.

 

We have system in 7.1.9 using oracle and plan is to move to 8.5 with postgre using migration upgrade.

Thanks a lot Prakash for quick response. 

One more query I have, our application is heavily using DB objects like Stored proc, views, packages, custom tables for business functionality. Is there any recommended tool for estimating Oracle to postgre DB migration efforts and doing the actual migration.

Right now we will be doing pega upgrade and DB migration to make app cloud ready.
