Does Revalidate & Save is mandatory post upgrade from 7 to 8 version?
Hi folks,
Currently we are migrating from 7 to 8 version, after completion we had doubt that Configure-->System--->Release-->Upgrade--->Revalidate & Save is mandatory or not. If not mandatory then what's the impact, if it' a mandatory what's the role of this Revalidate & Save.

Hi @AnilK0590,
It is recommended to run revalidate&save after upgrade. Because the we just need to validate the rules which are created in earlier version in current upgraded platform version.
Eg. User might have created a rule in Pega 7, the rule would be valid within the boundaries of validations defined in Pega7. Post upgrading to Pega 8, the rule which was created in pega 7 has to pass the validations defined in Pega 8 to ensure stable application functionality.
