if we enable all interfaces to send custom alerts to PDC and users subscribe for all the custom alerts, will it cause PDC outgoing email service to be flooded or saturated with 1000s of emails going per day.

Does any email throttling issue happens. if max threshold value if any is breached  will the  alerts subscribed by users still be sent.
