I have configured receiver email account setting and click on Test connectivity it is getting failed with error

I tried testing pega provided sample test configuration as well for the receiver section. Those as well it is getting failed with same error.

Could you please help me is there any configuration setting we have to do in Pega for receiver section.

The OOTB email account wouldn't work because it contains invalid server details such as "sample.com". It is just meant to be used as a reference.
In your case, check if IMAP server details entered are correct - host lmtp-mti.mail.net and port 25. Also check if you are able to connect to the IMAP server through another email client such as Thunderbird.

The IMAP server details entered are correct because the same details are working for the Sender section. The issue is only with Receiver section.
Can you suggest what could be the issue?
Any configuration change we have to check or any settings we have to do in Pega application.
Pega Version: 8.1.5.
