Email account configuration - Receiver connectivity failed
I have created an email account and able to establish the connection with sender configuration. But the receiver connectivity fails with the below error.

Overall result
CheckApplication Server configuration.
Even tried setting the DSS --> Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS value as true. PFA for configuration info.
Did i missed any other configuration at server end??

Thanks guys,
Now it is working fine. This is due to Avast firewall block. Disabling it resolved the issue for now..

if not could you please try the same?

Hello,
Have tried with '465' port number on receiver end for secure connection? Since you are disabling TLS.
Can we try with plain SMTP port (i.e. 25) first?

Port 25 is not an option for gmail, and it is an SMTP port.
The original post claims that SMTP is working and IMAP is not.

Your configuration looks to be correct in the Email Account record.
What Application Server are you using?
What version of java are you using?
Also, you should remove the "DisableSecuritySTARTTLS" work you did. It will not help with an IMAP connection to GMail and it will negatively impact SMTP connections.
