Email account configuration - receiver connectivity issue

I have created  an email account and able to establish the connection with sender configuration.  But the receiver connectivity fails with the below error.

Status

Fail:Configuration

 

Message
A secure connection could not be established with the incoming email server. CheckApplication Server configuration.

 

Even tried setting the DSS --> Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS value as true. PFA for configuration info.

Do i need to configure anything else at server end or the configuration is wrong. please explain

Below are receiver connection details.

Host: imap.gmail.com

por: 993

protocol: IMAP

Use SSL/TLS: enabled

Hi Damien 

Do we have a resolution for this issue.I am faceing same problem , the connection is getting refused. I am trying to connect my exercise system with my gmail acount. Please help

Hi Pritam,

You can resolve the issue by enabling the "Allow less secure apps" in google account under "Sign-in & security".
