Does Pega Chatbot understand Japanese language?

According to the below discussion thread, Pega NLP only supports 7 languages, which doesn't include the Japanese language.

If Pega Chatbot relies on the same NLP capability, then it means Pega Chatbot doesn't understand the Japanese language well. 

Am I right?

Yes Pega do support Japanese in 8.4 version.

These are the languages we support in 8.3 version

  • English
  • Dutch
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish

And below languages are added in 8.4 along with already existing languages.

  • Croatian
  • Czech
  • Danish
  • Japanese
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Russian
  • Swedish
  • Turkish
