Upgrade Pega Marketing application : Compatibility question

We need to update our Marketing application from PEGA 7.2.1 to 7.3.1 ( Pega Marketing version : 7.21 ) . Due to various dependencies , we are planning to go ahead with platform update only ( and keep marketing application as-is ) . Is it viable option ? Any ideas on what kind of issues we might face if we go with this approach ?

Hi Vamsee,

Let me know built-on Applications on current application, to provide more suggestions on the Pega upgrade.

As per the previous post from Arvind, It is not advisable to go with marketing application (AS IS). Please refer to Pega upgrade guide (Install Pega 7.3.1 or later), in the PDN

If you have Pega Marketing for communication in your current application, impact assessment need to perform with respective UI in terms of inheritance and deprecated ruleset with respect to PMC v7.3.1.  And need to consider NBAA (legacy upgrade) in this context

Please check with Pega Product team to consider on the Pega version, it is better to consider the latest version of Pega.
