Transcript download for Digital messaging
We have configured Digital messaging channel in Pega platform without customer service component. While we click on "Download Chat Transcript" button in ootb widget, it does nothing. Is it expected ?
how we can enable the downloading of chat transcript from chatbot widget ?

Hi @Vikas_Agrawal,
Indeed with the use case of Customer Service and implementation of the pyOnTranscriptDownload in the CS Layer the platform's layer implementation remained empty. I will create backlog item to handle this request in future releases.

@Vikas_Agrawal To enable the download of chat transcripts from the chatbot widget, you need to ensure that the chatbot configuration is correctly set up. The chat transcripts should be stored under the page content named - BotTranscript under pyWorkPage of the interaction case. If the chatbot is not configured to store the transcripts in this manner, the "Download Chat Transcript" button may not function as expected.

@MarijeSchillern We understand pyOnTranscriptDownload activity is being used for generating content of chat history, which is kept empty for extenstion. It would be better if it has a sample format of chat history which get's downloaded by default.
