Pega personal edition UI messed up
Hello, I have installed the pega personal edition app and I have been using it for a while. But then out of nothing (I have not changed or install anything) my pega application gets completely messed up. Looks like CSS classes are not applied for some reason (please see the attachment below).
I tried to run shutdown process and then to start it again, shut down PC and run it again, clean all the cache data in browser, run it in incognito window, run it in different browsers but nothing seems to work for me.
Do you have any suggestions for this kind of problem please?

@MarianC16661437 Hi Can you check if there is any skin rule or any css in your private checkout?

@SrinidhiM Hello thank you very much for your response. I did not add any custom skin rule but I am unable to check anything as all UI elements are messed up and I am unable to click any button. I guess there is need for some kind of "hard reset" or update of personal edition but keep all the data unchanged as I have already created application I cannot delete or lost in any way. Is there such an option please?

@MarianC16661437 Hi Then the problem is with your id alone which means that there is a rule in private checkout which might be causing the issue , try creating a new id and start using it for now and let us know if that helps. Then we can find the rule which is in your checkout and release the lock

@MarijeSchillern Hello thank you for your reply. I tried to implement solution adviced here but I did not manage to pass through steps 2,3. Could you advise me how to truncate pr_sysgen_static_content; or Clear Pega TEMP please? I tried to look for it online but did not manage to succeed. The only thing I found was this one here but due to UI elements being messed up I am unable to click anything. So I guess I can only execute code in terminal/command shell or to reinstall something.

@MarianC16661437 as this is Personal Edition I think a re-install would be best.
The steps you list involve accessing the PostGres sql editor to truncate a table which is always risky. If you wish to proceed, see the following about that here, here and here.
A search on the PSC for 'Pega TEMP' will show you how to find it and clear it. It set at the application server level, so it's location should be known to the application server admins.
Please follow @SrinidhiM ' suggestions first as the fact the issue occurs only for some users does indicate the cause to be the rules.
