How to delete the temp files that are created in the application server
Hi
I have temp files created (.Zip) which has to be deleted once the case is created. We are using Pega 8.1.3 version. I have seen in few threads, it is not advisable to delete the temp files, instead use the system cleaner. I need help in configuring it in 8.

Thanks for the update. We created a function and passed the file path to delete the downloaded application zip files.

It's not advisable to delete PEGA temp files but here it's your own application temp files.
I'm not convinced PEGA itself should manage everything.
Isn't there and can't you create a file system cleanup which would delete all zip files based on criteria you would defined.
Otherwise, since you know that/when your case is created I guess you can call an activity to delete your file for which you stored the reference. You just need to make sure that your case has been handled on a single server and that the cleaning activity will be called on same server. Or use a common and mounted FS to have all your zip files on same location for any node.
