Error While installing pega 8.7 personal edition

Hi,

 

I m getting error "Process finished unsuccessfully use logs to find cause correct it and run again".

please help how to resolve the issue

Hello,

Make sure that you have downloaded the complete Personal Edition Setup file from the official website.

Make sure of Port numbers before installing.

Go to the path and delete any existing folders of personal edition 8.7 restart you machine, extract the setup file of personal edition and try to install it again by turning of the any antivirus if exists.

@Sadiq I am getting the following error :

 

org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Connection to localhost:5433 refused

I have tried removing all files of PEGA

Restarted system , downloaded the zip file again and install from the same. But i still get this error.

Hi Anuradha,

Firstly Install https://www.pgadmin.org/download/ and download ( https://support.pega.com/question/how-download-pega-personal-edition ) the Personal Edition from the Pega Site and Install.

Make sure Database Port and Tomcat Port number available or not. if post number not available please change the port numbers and check the port number again

Eg: 

Database Port: 5432

Tomcat Port: 8080 I hope this will help you.
