Pega CDH – Minimum volume threshold per Outbound Scheduler run
Hello,
we are currently working with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) and outbound scheduling of actions, and we have a question regarding execution thresholds.
Specifically, we would like to know whether it is possible to configure a minimum volume threshold per single run of an Outbound Scheduler.
Our requirement is the following:
- an outbound action is scheduled and executed by the Outbound Scheduler,
- for a given scheduler run, the action is selected for a certain number of assets,
- if the number of selected assets for that specific run is below a defined minimum threshold (e.g. 100),
- then the action should not be sent / executed at all for that run.
We would like to understand:
- whether CDH supports this type of per-run minimum execution threshold out of the box,
- whether it can be achieved via configuration (e.g. decisioning rules, eligibility, arbitration, scheduling or volume constraints),
- or whether it would require a custom implementation, for example applying post-decision logic before outbound execution.
Could you please advise if this scenario is supported and what the recommended implementation approach would be?
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Francesca
