Volume Constrain - Minimum Volume configuration is not working as expected.
We have set "Minimum Volume" as "10" in Volume constraints, based on this configuration, outbound scheduler should not return offers if the total number of eligible offers is less than 10. But it is returning offer even if total number of eligible offers in less than "Minimum Volume". This is not the expected behavior. Kindly help us understand.

Hi, the volume constraint capability tries to give at most 1 action per customer based on the minimum and maximum thresholds configured. The minimum is set when the business thinks there is minimum set of actions that is a must-go irrespective of the priority of the different actions. So if you have 100 customers getting the same action and you have a minimum of 10 and maximum of 50 configured, what it means is : at least 10 customers should get that action, and at most 50 customers can get that action.
So it can potentially be less than 10 too, if the outbound run say outputs only for 5 customers that action. Hope that makes sense. @Sriram Krishnan Thanks for your response. In the above scenario, even if outbound scheduler can return less than 10, what is the significance of configuring "Minimum volume Constraints" as 10?

The significance of that configuration come into play only if there are more number of customer actions than the minimum not otherwise.
