Integrating DocuSign Webforms API: Retrieving and Attaching Signed PDFs to Pega Cases via API
We are integrating the DocuSign Webforms API into our Pega application and need assistance with the following steps after a user signs the webform:
- Automatically sending the signed PDF back to our Pega system once the form is completed.
- Attaching the signed PDF to a specific case in Pega where the webform request was triggered from.
Can anyone provide insights, examples, or best practices for configuring this workflow in Pega, particularly on how to retrieve the signed PDF and link it to a case via API?

Use Pega's Service REST which comes with the DocuSign component (DocuSignService • Services • pyConnect) to retrieve the signed PDF via DocuSign's API, using the envelopeId. Attach the retrieved document to the relevant case identified by its unique caseID/envelopeId.
In your DocuSign account, navigate to Integrations -> Connect. Enter the Pega service REST endpoint URL in the Connect Configuration under "url to publish":

Select applicable trigger events (Envelope Signed/Completed). Whenever these events occur, DocuSign will invoke the Pega Service REST. Refer to the attached images
