images in the email body for the gmail are not displayed

Hi Team,

Requirement: In my application i need to display the images in the email body.

Approach: Used Pega OOTB activity (CorrNew) for sending email and Created and Passing the Correspondence rule  having image inserted as paramter to the mentioned activity, i was able to see the images in the yahoo mail, domain emails(outlook).  but couldnt load images in the gmail, Please reply would be appreciable.

Hello,

I seen this post earlier, but this is not working i am getting the below error.the image is not rendering only when we open the mail in gmail.

 com.pega.pegarules.pub.PRRuntimeException: Illegal characters detected in the path "/StaticContent/common/25860cf09255973e67d4dd21bd24bfc1//c_zdp4FjGam7bYOW3jaoghcEK9Ma08NV*/webwb/Img_DeclrEmail.png>". You may not use ", ?, *, <, >, |, :  in the gmail
