How to restrict and enable internal and external users to create cases.
Hi All,
I have a requirement in which i want to enable the case creation option to internal (Pega portal) and external users (using api) for specific period.
Also, any way to display the message saying case creation window will open from date to todate and enable case creation option in internal and external user's website/screen.
Any suggestion on the above requirement solution.

- External Portal(Which authorization is configured for API)

We are planning to use webmashup to give case creation access to external user and pega caseworker portal for pega user and not using any pega framework.

Hi @RamprasadK1713: How is your external site built on? Is it using constellation? If yes, changes in PEGA are expected to sync in your external channel too.
With regards to the PEGA portal, it is up with you to determine the option. You can have a banner configured in your portal / screen with a simple section with paragraph of field value for this. And to restrict the case creation, you can add a visibility condition for the action.

We are planning to use Webmashup/DX API for external users case creation and page case worker portal for internal users.
Our Requirement is as bellow.
Internal employees can submit the cases using their internal portal and an API is available for external parties to provide an interface to submit cases. The case submission window will be open for 15 days in every six months.

Hi @RamprasadK1713: If you are using mashup then your UI in mashup is controlled by PEGA. Were you able to achieve this in the PEGA portal using sections and visibility conditions?
Regarding the external portal, if you are using API, am i right to say the front end is maintained by different team? If so, the team managing the front end should manage this. Else you need to use validations.
