How to Pass a caseID on link at correspondence that opens the case manager
I created one case and processing it in the middile i am sent a mail to user. In that mail correspondence i provided a link to user, when ever user click on that link it create mashup case in that he upload the documents.
those document i want to attach to my main case.for that i want pass my main CaseID in URL what ever i providedin that correspondece. how can i acheive it and what are the another aproches i hv to achive whole requirement.
please help me out form this.

Not sure what you meant by Mashup case? Do you mean Directed Web Access (DWA)?
From my point of view, it could be done via DWA[1] in this way -
- Create a new case type (Document case)
- From the main work object initiate this document case (it may or may not be a child of main work object). Pass the main work object case key to document case if you don't want to set it up as child case.
- After the initiation, create an external assignment (this will send out the email corr with necessary URL to complete that assignment).
- Once your end user clicks on the link on email, that assignment will open up, and user can attach the required documents.
- After the assignment shape in the process, add an utility to copy the attached document from document case to parent case as document case id holding the parent case inskey.
