How to use link from correspondence
Hi,
Can anyone guide me how to use link containing ID from correspondence and redirect it to the portal containing any pega application.
Whenever we will click on link containing ID should be redirect it to the intended portal.

Hello Shweta,
You can achieve that using a URL which would invoke an activity directly and embed that URL in the link in correspondence.
When the link is clicked, the URL launches the activity and you can customize the activity to create a work object after authenticating the user.

I think one way is to write a script where you define the url (something like www.xyz.com/pyActivity=?....) and define the on click events.
Use this function on on click event of the link (run script action) , or alternatively use the action "Open url in window" action on click action and specify the activity in it..
Note-Make sure you check the "Allow direct invocation from the client or a service" checkbox on the security tab of the launching activity.

I used a custom control instead of link and I am calling the function in the code itself.
You can call the function on click of the link.
