How does the Email and SMS Delivery Receipt works in Marketing 7.4 .
What prerequisites we need from the email/sms servers etc ?

Hi,
Email delivery receipts are based on the "Impressions" configured in the email treatment - this is an existing feature even prior to PM 7.4 (capturing IH when an user opens the email with image references)
For SMS delivery receipts its a new capability since PM 7.4 to capture an interaction history "impression" record similar to email. For this you will have to configure the "Delivery receipts" section in the SMS configuration. (page 318 - the UI should look similar for PM 7.4 though this user guide is based on the latest GA)

Email open rate is based on the hidden image and it triggers the impression right .
But how does the Email Delivery Receipt works (to get Bounce rates/ delivered Rate etc) . Will it connect to the server and get the Delivery ? OR is there any mechanism by which it gets the delivery rate .
