Can we capture SMS Delivery Receipt Using Marketing FW ?
Hello,
We are using Pega MarketingFW 7.3.1.
In our project there is a requirement to capture delivery receipt of SMS sent to customer. We use outbound SMS account to send SMS and SMSC server will have the delivery receipt information.
Using OOTB capability i.e, Inbound and Outbound SMS configuration can we get delivery receipt information in to Pega?

Hi,
Pega Marketing has added OOTB capabilities for SMS delivery receipts request and recording from the PM 7.4 version.
Basically the delivery receipts will be tracked and recorded against the customer in interaction history as an "Impression" and your future campaigns and other reporting can consume this data for example in decisioning and segmentation.
Please see if you could upgrade to a later version to take advantage of the OOTB capabilities. In the earlier versions, the outbound SMS does not request for delivery receipts while submitting the message, given that clutters the inbound SMS response processing rules.
