The current behavior of Pega Screen Flow, with its start shape routed to a work queue, causes a frustrating loop for operators. Each time they navigate between screens (forward or backward), the system closes the work object and sends it back to the work queue, forcing the operator to repeatedly reopen the assignment.

Now i need a streamlined user experience where an operator can seamlessly progress through all screens of the Screen Flow after picking it from the work queue, without the interruption of re-opening the assignment at each step. The work object/assignment should only return to the work queue for someone else to pick it up once the Screen Flow is fully completed or closed.

Is it possible to customize the screenflow somehow to move forward/backward in the screenflow without having to open the assignment from the work queue every time?
