Creating Intent Task from Backend
Hi All,
We are implmnting the Customer Service framework, where we have a requirment of creating Case and displaying it without user action Left panel.
The case created can be seen on the left panel(image attached for reference). I am able to create case but adding those cases to Left Panel require lot of Intent Data peges.
Pleaase assist if anyone have any clue on that, i will be a great help.

If you're planning on using a button or link, you can attach the CreateWork API to that directly. If you want to do it via Javascript, you can use the pega.desktop.createWork API as well. You simply pass in the Class and Flow name that you'd like use for the Work.

"I need to create the cases automaticaly and when user move to 360 screen created cases can be seen with the left panel Tag, so no action from UI.
Currently i tried creating HTML File and calling fromActivity with Either Show-Stream anf Sow-HTML and calling below scripts
pega.ui.crmHarnessActions.createNewWorkMultiParams("CLASSNAME","pyStartCase");
OR
pega.desktop.createNewWork("CLASSNAME" , "", "pyStartCase" , "&IsNonNativeCase=false" , "", "", "", "");
Please let me know if any further information required.

In that case, you should be using the Auto Launch feature of the Intent Task and using the Intent When rules to drive this. This is OOTB functionality that will only require configuration, not code.

Thank u so much Amit, I am able to do the task by creating an html fragment and then calling createNewWork with classname and flowname on my Customer360 screen

Hi ABHISHEK, I am also trying to launch a new service case for the same intent task from the back end. I have created a html fragment with the code as pega.desktop.createNewWork("www-www-www-Worktype" , "", "pyStartCase" , "&IsNonNativeCase=false" , "", "", "", ""); I have also called the fragment in the show -stream method . The show-stream method fires but no case is created. Can you please let me know ur approach?

You should be calling this in JS
pega.desktop.createNewWork('XXXX-XX-XXX-CCCC' , "",'pyStartCase',strFlowParam,"","","","");
strFlowParam are your flow params and i assume you should have ticked the Create Work object in pyStartCase Flow.
Please their might be data issue as HTML might not able to comprehend the special character in your params,so do take note on that
