Automatic Assignment
Hi,
I'd like to know how to create an "automatic" assigment (inside a flow rule) in order to have these 3 characteristics:
1) when an assigment is automatic processed I should see it as "Completed" and not clickable (as per the manual assignents)
2) no other human actions are required
3) the flow will proceed to the next assigment
I've tryed using the SLA settings inside the assigment shape using the "AdvanceFlow" activity passing a flow action rule (the same used in the maual assignment), but the outcomes are not good as described in the points above.

Hello,
Let me ask you the stupid question. If you need an automatic assignment, with no "human actions" with the flow continuing to the next assignment. Are you sure you really need an assignment, this description make me thing you want everything but an assignment.

We need an automatic assignments for two reasons:
1)we need to trace these in the list of the assigments (both for the automatic and manual assigments)
2) we need to set a some properties that are used in the flow action passed a parameter (the same flow action used in the manual assignment)

Right,
So you tried to work with an SLA using "AdvanceFlow" or "ResumeFlow" and it wasn't good enough ? Can you clarify ? Is it because a user is still able to process the assignment if he is quick enough. If this is the problem, you can just assign it to an hidden WorkBasket instead.
