Adding fields though Configure View are displayed at the start of the application
Hi All,
I am new to PEGA and am trying my hand at it.
I tried to create a field( not a field group) for a step and when I saved the changes and run the application, the field is displayed at the start of the project. Why this happens. However this doesn't happen if I create a Field Group and Add fields under it
Here I have created 3 Field Groups - Personal Details, Address and Status, all three having Fields and Field Groups defined in them. Also, I have created 2 Fields Create P and Checking
When I save and run the project , the first screen I see contains the 2 fields Create P and Checking. Please guide me where I am going wrong

Hi,
Please go to Settings tab of case and in General select the check box "Skip Create view when users create a new case" and see if it works.

The screen which you are referring to is the create view.
If you want to change the fields which are getting you can go to the Views tab in Case Type. Please find the below screenshot for more details.

The Problem is the fields are displayed when I click on Save and Run button. The fields were created as part of a different steps(using Configure view from APP studio.), then why is this displayed on the First screen. I think I am missing something. Ideally when I create a field(not field group) from the Case Type tab for a Step, my expectation is the fields will be shown when the application reached that particular step. Its working fine for Field group as expected. Please help

As Shyju suggested, if you don't want see this when the case is created, you can select the checkbox "Skip Create view when users create a new case" in Case Type settings.
