Reopen a Child Case
Hi,
I have requirement to run a utility to reopen the child cases which are closed in error. I used reopenworkobject OOTB Final activity and passed flow name to have it initiated.
Since the OOTB activity is trying to reopen the parent case as well with same flow (Which doesnt exist in parent), the processing is throwing an exception.
Any suggestions to pass specific params for parent?

I think you can create your own activity or save as the ootb activity and modify the activity to fetch the child cases for each parent and filter out the child cases which is having the Flow error or Not resolved with an error (check the pyWokPage has errors) and try to open that case and update the things as per your requirement and save it. 1. Open the Parent Case: Navigate to the parent case. 2. Locate the Child Case: Find the child case in the related items section. 3. Reopen the Case: Select the "Reopen" or similar option from the actions menu. 4. Confirm the Action: If prompted, confirm your choice. 5. Check Status: Verify that the child case is now reopened.

Hi @Vishal Venkatesh, before calling the ReopenWorkObject activity, check if the case is a child case. Skip the parent case in this check. Customize the ReopenWorkObject activity to add logic that ensures only child cases are reopened, and exclude the parent case and ensure specific parameters (like flow name) are passed only for the child cases, avoiding errors due to incorrect flow names in the parent case.
