Allowing a user to update a property when the case is resolved

Hi,

I have a the below requirement.

Please suggest me a solution.
I have a case which is already resolved. Now I should allow the user to click on a button where I should show a modal dialog and show the editable property. Once the property is changed, the user will click on submit and the changes should happen to the case.

How to achive it?

Hello, 

Do you really need the user to do that? I guess this is just a one shot right. this won't be recurring task past resolution. Can't you just do it with an admin user it will be easiest. 

What platform version is it?

@Sam27  We can even create a Job Scheduler and perform the change of property if we don't really need user actions to be performed.
