how to display a localized value using a formatted text control
For Text input control we have an option to display the Localize Property Value, as shown in the below screenshot. But how do we display the localized property value with the Formatted Text control.
We could as well use the text input control and configure the edit options to readonly always. However, we have used formatted text control in several sections and updating each of them would really be a daunting task.

Can you try using the Localize Property Value from the Value drop down as shown in the below screenshot.

Hi Avinash,
I did not get what you meant by Formated text control, is that something a custom control used by you.
If so you can use the localization api like tools.getLocalizedTextForString in your Control coe to get localized value...

No, I'm using the OOTB Formatted text control to display read-only values.
The only issue is i would like to display a localized text value instead of the property value using the above control.
We have an OOTB way of displaying localized value in Text input control. But want to know ootb way for formatted text control as well.
