How to display the value(text input) in section from the 'Local Data Storage' in a data Page using a Report Definition?
I am trying to display a value based on some filter condition in report Definition.
If i use the Dropdown, i am able to get a single value from the single row returned from Report Definition. But i want to do the same thing using a text input in read-only format.
Can anyone help in this context and provide some suggestion.

I achieved the same solution using the DT. I used the Data Page inside the DT to store the value of a Property. Because i only wanted to one value from the Data page.

I have created the Data Transform to achieve. The only fault in this design is this , it will populate the value on click event but i hope you will find some solution for that also.
Please let me know on your thoughts.

Thanks Abhishek, I too got a similar solution but its also based on the lick action.
Please clarify this doubt..If we call a Report definition (that returns only one record, based on some filter conditions) inside a dropdown. The Data Page inside clipboard, a single Page related to that report definition will be created Right? So can we use a DT to store the particular value from this result Page to our local property.
But in your example you have used the D_DropdataList.pxResluts(1).Name to get the Name Property of the first record and store it inside the pyDescription, When you use like this "D_DropdataList.pxResluts(1).Name" will the Report Definition run in back-end, Because I want to know when/how the Report Definition is called?
