Writing output template to external DB
Hi,
We have implemented Pega Marketing 7.1.3 on Pega 7.2 at our customer. We are currently developing outbound channel integration. We have a working connection to an external database (OLTP). While running a campaign we would like the output template to write the result to this external DB. But we are not able to create the table in the OLTP db. We made sure to give the create table authorization to bd user but it didn't work. We have also tried manually creating the table but again output template did not insert to that table. Is there anything we can do to write the output template to an external db?

Hi Nazeem,
Have you traced with SQL options on, also what, if any, errors are observed in the log. Also does your method used to save require a commit? If so, is it executed?

Is the DB template pointing to a different database to ExternalMKTData? If so, does it work when writing to the ExternalMKTData database?
I think there was a bug in earlier releases that had issue writing to other databases, so suggest you look to writing it into ExternalMKTData
