Change Output File Template delimiter
Hi all,
please could anybody help with PegaMarketing. Where can I change the default "," delimiter to ";" in PegaMarketing 731? I customized the PopulateColumnName and WriteToStaging activities in PegaMarketing721, but WriteToStaging activity was withdrawn in PegaMarketing722 and after upgrading from PegaMarketing 721 to PegaMarketing 731, the customized activitiy WriteToStaging with ";" doesn't work any more.

The solution is to install HFIX-44795 and follow these steps:
1) set desired delimiter in Dynamic System Setting PegaMKT-Engine:MKTFileDelimiter - this will be used for all NEW templates from this point forward
2) if it is desired to persist this to all existing templates run activity Code-Pega-List.PersistNewDelimiterToFileTemplates

Hi ,
Could you save as the PopulateColumnName activity of Rule-Obj-Template class in your ruleset.
Then in the step 1.2 ( Property-set step) use Param.PopulatedColumnString + ";"
Check if this works for you.

Hi,
unfortunately, to customize PopulateColumnName is not sufficient enough. It changes the delimiter only in header columns. There was one more activity to be customized in 721 (WriteToStaging), which cared about the rest of columns.
