Upgrade to cloud environment
Team,
We're having one requirement where we've to upgrade the Pega Application to Cloud Server (Not Pega Cloud). Could you please help us regarding how to approach for the same. What are checklists needs to follow for the same.

Hi,
Upgrading on-premise Pega application to a cloud server(Not Pega cloud) should not be a problem when we run the supported versions of OS, App server and DB on the cloud. Network part will be anyway taken care by cloud service provider.
Refer to the Platform Support Guide for supported server platforms based on the Pega version used.
Recommend approach is to take a full backup of Pega DB and restore it on cloud DB server. Depending on the App server, the related components should be re-configured while pointing the app server to the database.
There could be some other best practices/checklist depending on your cloud service provider to upgrade.
