Hi,
I tried, using the tool but after adding the ruleset to our application and running the portal we are not able to see the ruleset, in the dropdown, please find the attach document for the same.

Kindly share if there is a new version available to use or do we need to raise a SR to GCS to get the same.

can someone from the Pega 7 Upgrade team to help the issue is still their as the error are present in the UpgradeEE jar have issues in running  in 731 instance.

The team which built these tools is no more focused on the areas of upgrade. 
 

I can provide some inputs regarding the tools though. 

Upgrade Estimator

 - Upgrade Estimator is ideally independent of Pega versions

 - It has two DSS, if I am not wrong, which say if the estimator is in-progress or not

 - The list of rulesets can be ignored, it is only for additional info or selection

  - If you can goto estimator portal and click on estimate, ideally it needs to start the process of estimation. 

  - Keep an eye on logs, and if you see estimator is hung then you can change the DSS values and re-trigger it too

  - I think, estimator has an additional RAP for 7.1.7 or 7.2 and above environments, you might want to even import that too

Environment Comparison Tool

  - This is a Java based tool and connects directly with the DB

  - It is not tied to Pega version, ideally should continue to work. 

Both of these tools were last tested on Pega 7.2, and now as the team is not available you can try to debug and identify the root-cause of the issue, if any.
