Unable to launch the Pega 7.4 Personal Edition when clicked on Pega Platform 7.4.0 Startup Icon

Installed Pega Personal Edition 7.4. After successful Installation without any error on Errors tab. Not able to Launch the Pega PE 7.4.

Getting the below exception when clicked on Pega Platform 7.4.0 Startup Icon.

'cmd' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

As suggested in the below post increased Heap size for Java but still no luck. Please help.

Hi Raj,

 

Could you please verify once if PATH environment variable is correctly pointing to c:\windows\system32.

Hi Raj,

As suggested in this discussion https://collaborate.pega.com/question/unable-launch-pega-721-personal-edition-when-clicked-start-icon , 'cmd' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file error usually indicates that a batch file or other command type file is not in the path.

Have you tried checking if there are any missing path or not found messages during installation?
