Unable to launch local action in review

Hi Shaun,

I would like to launch an action in review mode from other actions but I am getting the below error.Kindly suggest some way on this.

"Local actions are available only when you are performing the assignment"

I have configured the action in "pyWorkActionsReview" navigation rule.

You can go to action tab of your flow action rule and mention the 'Review' as in show harness as below.

Hi Narender,

In the Actions tab of the Flow action, what is the value set for "Used as" in the Indicator? Can you check the behaviour when this value is set to Local and Connector.

Hi Narender,

My understanding is the purpose of 'Review' harness is just to review your work object. Whereas 'Perform' harness is to do processing on your work object.

And the warning/error message you have got is quite explanatory - "Local actions are available only when you are performing the assignment" . These are permitted only when using 'Perform' harness.

I tried that but still not working.

But we have a requirement of launching the actions in review mode rather open the case to get it in perform mode because those tasks will not be assigned to him rather they assign to other users.

Please let me know if you are able to fix this issue. I have a similar requirement.

 

Think we can launch a local action from review harness, By using java script in the navigation rule. Let me know if you already have the solution with you.
