Local Action is not launching on click of button
Hi,
In Pega7.3,Local action is not launching on click of button.It is not showing any error message also,One more thing Same code is working in pega 7.1.Please help.

Initially the value of Enable client-side template UI was set to Pega Default in harness rule of Advanced Tab,
To fix the issue I have change value of Enable client-side template UI to No and issue got fixed.

I have configured local action on click of a button in 7.3 as below at it is working fine for me:
I have configured the local action with Modal dialog box.
Please attach the screen-shot of your configuration.

I have not configured anything new in pega 7.3,We have just upgraded from 7.1 to 7.3 .In 7.1 it is working fine but in 7.3 it is not working, Please find the screenshot below. Please advice whether we need to apply any hotfix or we need to create the section in work class.

Is Local Action "DeleteAlert" exists in your application?If yes, please check the section it refers. Maybe revalidating and saving these rules might solve the issue.

On click of Button, did you try to trace? Is it tracing? Do you see any error?
Are there any error in the logs and UI?
Could you please attach tracer and logs to investigate further.

Hi Sibani,
I tried to traced but I am not getting any error message on log or at UI or at tracer .Please check the screenshot of tracer as well as screenshot of UI after click on button. On click of delete button ,system is displaying one Dark screen. Please refer the attachment.

In your shared tracer document i can see a FAIL message on 138 line, could you cross check it.

That Fail message also happening in pega 7.1 tracer but in 7.1 local action is launching .But in 7.3 it is not working. The exact issue is not with this fail message.

The Tracer doc attached shows a fail at step 23 of ProcessAction. What was the error in Tracer for that step?

Hi Lochana,
As you suggested i updated the harness rule to set the "Enable client-side template UI" to No. Still popup window is not opened. we are opening the popup window on click on button. on click on button we are using a local action and target as Modal Dialog.
