Search not working in Pega UI
Pega 7.22
Search is not working within the search bar(top right) in the Pega UI base page. It used to work previously. Does anyone know how to get it working again, or how to troubleshoot the cause?

Adding to my colleague suggestion, you can make sure whether it is not able search any specific rules or it is not able to search anything. Also you can go to the System > Settings > Search wizard(then check the status of the Rules, Data and Work using Check button). If the search status is corrupted then you can try to re-index once again.

Thanks for info! The index was corrupted, and running a re-index now.

I noticed the following in PegaRULES-ALERT-2017-Nov-20.log, when running the re-index:
Status;*HTTP interaction has exceeded the elapsed time alert threshold of 1000 ms: 30003 ms.*
Looks like I'll have to increase this timeout value

I selected "All Classes" radio button for the re-index. Is it possible that I need to specify one rule at a time?

Yes you can define the list of specific classes which you want to re-index instead of re-indexing all the classes, you can explore the search wizard.
