Search results not working unless filter is changed once
Hello,
I've created a custom work-object (let's call it CUSTOBJ). In my front-end UI, I have a search box that uses the native PEGA search feature.
The problem is, when I search for a CustObj, the search doesn't return any results. I first have to change the filter "All Work Types" to any other value and then perform a search to see CustObj ojects in search results.
After that, I can move back the filter to "All Work Types" and it will still work until I log-out of the application. This behavior only happens with this new CustObj objects. Other work-objects don't see to be affected.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I'm using v7.1.8.

Hello Paul,
You need to do re-indexing for the custom work object you have created through search landing page (Designer Studio-->System-->Settings-->Search) .
mention the class you want to do the search as highlighted in the attachment and submit the landing page .

Hello, and thanks to both of you for your help.
Arun's answer worked. I didn't think it would be linked to the indexation since I was still getting search results (albeit not immediately). Guess I should have tried that anyway.
