Filters not working in excel
I am using an excel binary file template to generate an excel and and attach it in email.
I have added the option to filter records in the binary template. I see the filter option in attached excel but only 1st row option in filter.
I tried adding blank rows in binary template. If I add 50 blank rows, I see filter option only for those 50 options in attached excel. How to make this filter thing work in excel attachment for all the records?

Hi @KirtiG48 Is it good before attaching to the email? For us the excel filter is working good. But we are not attaching to email, we are just downloading.

@ManjunathaC even before attaching it the issue exists. I am using pxGenerateExcelFile to generate excel, I selected DownloadFile option to check and filters not working there also.

@KirtiG48I have seen an example where the issue was due to a faulty report definition.
That User was trying to do obj-browse on a class with faulty filters (adding an Oracle state error in Tracer) for few columns and then trying to export the obj-browse reults using "pzRDExportWrapper" of Rule-Obj-ReportDefinition class with the activity step page as 'results page' from obj-browse.
To fix this they then changed the filters for obj-browse values, so that step got through.
There were two possible ways to export results to an excel. Below is the article to export to excel results from Obj-Browse using an excel template (use pxGenerateExcelFile instead of MSOGenerateExcelFile because the latter is deprecated)

The second method and the most simplest way is using obj-open of the ReportDefinition and then call "pzRDExportWrapper". The RD can use any parameters as filters, and if the parameter is empty then it'll ignore the filter which uses that parameter, unless the option "Use Null if empty" is checked.
