Regarding closing Developer Portal from Manager Harness

Hi All,

Is there a way we can close the developer portal with an actions done in Manger Portal.

As we have the below functionality to get all the opened windows,example we can fetch the Manager harness with the below code.

Is there any similar functionality for fetching developer Portal window:

Its a bit urgent request early replies

var app = pega.desktop.support.getDesktopApplication();
var openWinLen = app.openedWindows.length;
for (var i=0; i < app.openedWindows.length; i++ ){

Hi Ipsita,

Thanks for posting on PSC.

Kindly provide the details:

  1. how you want to configure this action, using which control and action,
  2. Are you launching the manager portal from Designer studio (as if you directly logged into manager portal, designer studio doesn't come into picture.)

Ideally user with manager access should launch or access manager portal directly. Designer studio is only for developers not for other users.

Please provide more details on your usecase, so that we can suggest accordingly.

Hi Ipsita,

This is expected behavior. As when we launch any portal from designer studio, that is just for testing the functionality of portal while development. It will help you to develop and test without clearing sessions. For UAT, testing is recommended on portal only.
