slow developer portal

we currently have PEGA 7.1.7 installed. is there a hotfix that would fix the slow development portal?

we would rather not install the 7.1.8 and 7.1.9 updates at this time

PDN is experiencing technical difficulties at the moment. All support articles are affected.

While that is being sorted out, can you clarify the use cases in question here?

I take it you are experiencing general performance issues in designer studio.

Your comments imply IE9 is one of your used browsers.

Are you seeing performance issues with other browsers as well, or is it specific to IE? or even IE9 specifically?

it's specific to IE9. the developer studio is fast enough in FireFox but updating UI elements are mostly done in IE.
