Receive Notification is off in PEGA but still receiving notifications through bell icon

Hi PEGA Support team,

Receive Notification is off in PEGA (Found by clicking Operator ID-> Notification Preferences), but still receiving notifications through bell icon. What are the action items from my end, so it wont receive notification via bell icon when Receive Notification is off? TYIA!
