We are using Real Time event to send Outbound email to customers based on some triggers in Pega Marketing 8.3.6 version. The further interactions like email Click, Open etc are getting captured with Rank 0 in interaction History after 1 day from the time the email been sent out. The Capture Interaction data flow is not able to find the previous interaction after 1 day.
Found that the Store data time is set to 1440 minutes ( which is 1 day) in the autogenerated Real Time campaign data flow
Is there any configuration or setting ( like DSS) to change this storage time? Or what could be the possible solution to capture the email interactions properly without any time bound using Real Time campaign?
@NITHIYAN To adjust the time to live value, you will need to update the ADMShortTimeoutForDelayedLearning DSS and set the appropriate value. Please note that this DSS is also used for Real-time containers which are used for real-time inbound use cases. As you are not using Realtime Container, it is safe to update the DSS.
Once the DSS is updated any new dataflow that is generated will have the correct time to live values.
If you are using NBA Designer then you will need to de-associate the Event, save it and add it back again and save it for the data flow to generate with the correct value. If you are using a Multi-Channel campaign, then you will need to suspend the campaign and submit it again for execution.
You may also modify the existing dataflow rule directly and change the time to live value and it will take effect immediately for any new decisions being made.
