Pega upgrade from Pega 7.1.9 to Pega 8.6 - Tolerance and Compliance upgrade

Hi All - We are planning for a Pega platform upgrade with below combinations.

Pega upgrade from 7.1.9 to 8.6 | on Premise to On Premise | Pega platform | App server –WebLogic   Proprietary information hidden | DB Server – Oracle server Proprietary information hidden

Client has decided to go with just  PRPC rulebase upgrade and there wont be any modernization/adoption of any latest Pega 8 features , etc.

As per Pega's terminology it will be Tolerence Upgrade but not Compliance upgrade.

Could you please suggest/advise on any known issues/precautions we need to take while performing this tolerence upgrade from Pega 7.1.9 to Pega 8.6

Since you are upgrading from 7.1.9 to 8.6 there are lot of changes introduced, Please go through the release notes to understand the new features.

Post upgrade, if there are any customization on the OOTB rules, remediation will be required for the application to work properly.
