Pega upgrade 7.1.9 to 8.6
Hi, We are planning to do a Pega Upgrade from version 7.1.9 to Pega 8.6 and is there any way to run the pega upgrade tool? When we tried to config the tool we got some errors. Attached the screenshots. Thanks!

The Pega Upgrade Tools component is only compatible with Pega Infinity (Pega Platform, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5). The tool will help clients on Pega Infinity stay current, by giving them insight to the updates in the Platform that their application may override. At this time we are not looking to enabling support for previous versions of the Pega Platform.

@KiranU There's no resources since Upgrade tool doesn't support older version. I wanted to use it for estimation purposes. But had to take a manual approach to it. But for the upgrade, we can simply import the RAP from old version to the new version.

@Rachinda Gunasekara Thank for the response. I think there has to be some pre and post upgrade steps isn't it ? just importing the RAP would suffice but i think after upgrade there are chances that few might fail as well. So if you followed any specific doc, approach could you please share. We are also looking for 7.1.9 to 8.6

I haven't started the upgrade yet. But did some POC to check the compatibility.
